"Day Labor in the United States" -- poorly organized

Reading this article, the "Day Labor in the United States" section flows very oddly; it describes how day laborers are not necessarily immigrant labor, and not necessarily not white, without any notes about why one might assume they would be, which I found especially jarring since the article to that point was talking about how day labor was arranged as a normal work arrangement in history. I'm very aware of American racial/national stereotypes of day laborers as usually immigrant labor, but this is not expressed coherently in the article; it goes on to describe complaints about "immigrant day laborers" and gives no context for why these are complaints about immigrants specifically and not day laborers in general. I just find it very confusing and disorganized. 10:22 PM is not when I do my best writing, so I'm not going to clean this up now, but I will flag it for cleanup and see if I can improve any of this myself when I feel more awake. Oh, it turns out I just kinda failed at reading comprehension, the context starts in the "Types" section. It's not presented well. The content is there - I think the citations need to be investigated, and the article needs more non-US content - but rearrangement is in order. Kistaro Windrider (talk) 06:32, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
