Fair use rationale for Image:Dfeveron 02.png

[edit]

Image:Dfeveron 02.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Will review this over the next day(s).--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 00:45, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

1. Is it well written?

[edit]

Lead

[edit]
  • I would put the sentence about the ports last, because it occured long after the reviews and would make it more chronological, although I wouldn't fail the article if someone convinced me otherwise.
    • Done.

Gameplay

[edit]
  • Second paragraph: "These starfighters" comes up twice in short order, a little rewording would be nice.
  • Second paragraph: in what way is the announcer sassy? (does she talk sassy, make sex noises, or does she appear scantily clad?)
    • Done.

Development and release

[edit]
  • I would include the information that the Xbox Arcade release did not come to pass. May sound trivial but makes the section more coherent to the reader.

Reception

[edit]

All in all only a few minor tweaks needed.--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 00:23, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2. Is it verifiable with no original research?

[edit]

AgreeAll sources that I can access/understand check out, everything that needs a source has one.--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 13:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

3. Is it broad in its coverage?

[edit]

Does the game only have a framing narrative or an actual story with something specific happening if you beat the game? If it has some sort of conclusion/end, it should be mentioned.--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 13:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • DasallmächtigeJ: The game has a proper ending, but sources don't cover it so I chose to just leave it out. The story itself, like most scrolling shooters, is secondary to the game and doesn't really serve any importance other than to provide some background. Namcokid47 (Contribs) 17:50, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Namcokid47 As per manual of style, the plot does not need a secondary source, so that should not be problematic. I realize that story is an exaggeration for this genre but since you made it a point to include everything else that is to know about the narrative, including what happens when you finished shooting stuff up seems logical. Maybe in the well-chosen short format you applied so far...--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 00:09, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

4. Is it neutral?

[edit]

Agree--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 13:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

5. Is it stable?

[edit]

Agree--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 13:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

6. Is it illustrated?

[edit]

Agreeeverything checks out.--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 13:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Conclusion

[edit]

On hold Until the few very minor issues are sorted, should pass in a matter of days.DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 12:24, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Passed all required changes were made, if the article has a description of the endscene is no criteria to fail it on, will leave it to the editors to decide that later on. Thanks to all contributors for the good work!--DasallmächtigeJ (talk) 12:54, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
