Famous residents
[edit]Where does the information for the famous residents section come from? Do people add them because they heard a rumor? I'm curious how verifiable this whole section is. --Karuna8 03:43, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Merge from Killer Dana
[edit]Much of the Killer Dana article is really about Dana Point. It should be merged here, without the blatant promotion of the non-notable surf shop. --Bejnar (talk) 23:11, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
- I agree, with a redirect from Killer Dana to Dana Point. The Killer Dana article is very small and the Dana Point article is small enough to easily absorb a new section on the former surf break. Seems logical. 72Dino (talk) 23:14, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

The photo Dana Point Harbor.jpg incorrectly lists the Brig Pilgrim as the Spirit of Dana Point.
[edit]I have no idea how to edit or how any of that works, but someone please fix this. The Brig Pilgrim and the Spirit of Dana Point are two different Tall Ships kept at Dana Point Harbor. The one shown in the photo is the Pilgrim, but the description incorrectly calls it the Spirit of Dana Point. Here is more info on the two ships if you need a source: https://www.ocean-institute.org/general-information/about-spirit-dana-point https://www.ocean-institute.org/general-information/about-pilgrim — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.227.106.219 (talk) 01:35, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
The Pilgrim
[edit]The Pilgrim on the Dana Point harbor has been rebuilt since it sank in 2020. Here is the source I think this should be added in. source: https://www.sanclementejournal.com/2022/11/28/419387/spirit-of-dana-point-returns-to-the-harbor#:~:text=After%20the%20heartbreaking%20loss%20two,Diego%20Bay%20on%20June%2020th. Salt Creek Beach
[edit]There is a discussion on all the wonderful beaches we have in Dana Point and when it talks about the surfing beaches they failed to mention what I think is the most popular surfing beach in Dana Point. Which is Salt Creek Beach. Source: https://www.california.com/everything-to-know-when-visiting-salt-creek-beach/ Miageaney19 (talk) 01:04, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
