Nationality
[edit]The current version mistakes his ethnicity, Japanese/Morrocan-French, with his nationality. He was born in the United States, therefore he is American.
Early Life
[edit]The section refers to someone named, "Ito", but does not identify who he is. It also makes reference to a "recent" publication, but this is poorly written and does not cite the volume/edition or date of the magazine publication.
Cleaned up
[edit]OK, I cleaned up some of the advertisement talk. Winampman 15:23, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Just wanted to say thanks to 160.83.73.15 for re-writing the Performance section... I knew it sucked but I couldn't think of any other way to write it. :) Winampman 04:52, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
This page is basically an advertisement for Cyril. He is an excellent magician, but an encylopedia entry is not supposed to be an advertisement! The very existence of this page embodies everything that is wrong with Wikipedia and the whole Wikipedia concept.Cokerwr 15:19, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oh lighten up! :)Kmarinas86 15:21, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Partly true, partly untrue. Right now, the page has a bit of biographical information, but not much detailed info about his performances, or even the awards he has won. There needs to be more hard facts beyond the group he belongs to, say, some of the tricks he's become known for, and possibly how he is one of the recent generation of magicians to utilize the "street camera" and the propagation of his performances via the internet. - Just had the same thought as I was reading this. Also, just randomly throwing in a name like "Ito" (I guess it's the "rich Japanese businessman"?) is really not a good thing to do. I barely know anything about him, so I can't correct this stuff, but the way it's written now is pretty bad. 80.108.52.77 (talk) 23:42, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
Split ?
[edit]No. Not enough substance. Do not split. Bejnar 23:59, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I agree, but if you find more information about the group or cyril, you should split it. For now, keep them together.
