neccesity of game price in british pounds?

[edit]

"... the game will retail for a modest $29.99 (approx. £15)"

I'm not sure that the approximate price in pounds adds any value - especially considering exchange rates could easily invalidate this number. I'm gonna take it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.160.173.101 (talk) 20:42, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"crysis 2"

[edit]

Seeing as this game is NOT crysis 2, it should not have the page name "crysis 2" (in the html) nor should it redirect from crysis 2. I can only see this causing problems when the actual crysis 2 is announced. 98.132.222.96 (talk) 01:11, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If/when Crysis 2 is announced, the redirect page can be changed to a complete article with no problems at all =) Fin© 01:16, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Crysis Warhead LIVE

[edit]

Crysis Warhead will now have Windows LIVE capabilities, including Achievements and features seen all other Windows and Xbox LIVE games. The box art has also been updated to include the LIVE logo. The problem is I don't know how to upload a new box art image. The link for the updated boxart and corresponding article is here: http://www.videogamer.com/news/05-06-2008-8475.html

Two things, First read the whole thing, Second see the date. It is old. Warhead is using gamespy. --SkyWalker (talk) 18:18, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok well what I was getting at was the boxart was altered to include the live logo. And I wanted that to be updated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tehori (talkcontribs) 17:11, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't altered to include it... the one you're looking at was concept art, non-final. See Skywalker's comment again. Also, see the actual boxart here: Amazon product | Direct link
If someone wants to update the box art image with that one, please do. <Traejen> 01:17, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I could not find a good boxart which does not live on it. --SkyWalker (talk) 08:37, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Release date

[edit]

The release/shipping date is on the page as September 12th/16th, which reflects the official announcement made a week ago... the actual street date, however, is the 18th: EA AND CRYTEK LAUNCHES CRYSIS WARHEAD

I'm too new to Wiki to know what changes, if any, should be made. Traejen (talk) 16:44, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is it really an expansion?

[edit]

"Criticism of the game by reviewers includes the short story mode (though most note it is an expansion and not a full game) "

Citation needed. Who calls this an "expansion"? It is a standalone game, that is more a sequel/spin-off rather than an expansion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Medfreak (talkcontribs) 11:59, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PC Gamer UK score

[edit]

PC Gamer UK have given the game a score of 60%. I've changed it back from 90% that User:24.46.192.199 claims it recieved. I have the magazine here, so I don't know what he's on about. Please watch this, thanks, Indochinetn (talk) 18:00, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank for clarifying. I keep on look out for any changes.--SkyWalker (talk) 18:04, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Level titles

[edit]

A stab at interpretation. Not that this kind of game really needs interpretation, but since Crytek seems to invite interpretation, ... Anyone knows a better site for this?

Title internal name meaning

Call me Ishmael ambush First sentence of Moby Dick.

Crysis Wars Free Weekend

[edit]

EA and Crytek Declare A Weekend of Wars and http://www.mycrysis.com/newsdetails.php?news=38014. This information needs to be added.--SkyWalker (talk) 03:57, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heavy Criticism of DRM

[edit]

I think this should be included in the article. Go to amazon.com and look up the reviews of Crysis-Warhead. The vast majority of reviews are 1/5 because of the ridiculously stupid DRM system. Intranetusa (talk) 22:34, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It should only be covered if reliable verifiable sources have articles on it. Thanks! Fin© 22:44, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will be working on confirming the DRM on the game. I myself just got a popup warning that the game will not run because it cannot authenticate me over the internet. My computer had been turned off for 10 days and my ISP screwed up my internet connection. Alyeska (talk) 15:41, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Is the link to the Mi-24 necessary? Seeing as the KPA heli is not the Mi24, rather a lookalike, I don't think that the link should be there. It is misleading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.147.12.75 (talk) 19:16, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
