Removed POV "Serbian aggression on Croatia"

[edit]

Removed POV "Serbian aggression on Croatia" - please refrain from such non-encyclopedic POVs--TheFEARgod 12:28, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't the fact that there have been convinctions in an international war crimes court on the basis of:
1) a plan to create Greater Serbia;
2) an international conflict i.e. involving agression against sovereign states;
afford it encyclopeadic status? -- croatian_quoll 15:48, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes.. it was Serbian aggression on Croatia, firstly on Slovenia, then Croatia, then Bosnia Herzegovina .. the plans, tanks, troops came from Serbia.. the words Serb / Serbian aggression should stay.Zdssh (talk) 11:25, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The definition of aggression in the International law is very clear: "Provision of support to armed bands formed in its territory which have invaded the territory of another State, or refusal, notwithstanding the request of the invaded State, to take, in its own territory, all the measures in its power to deprive those bands of all assistance or protection." Hence, the War in Croatia was a war of aggression, initiated by the "Socialist Republic of Serbia"

za dom spremni

[edit]

Info is wrong......za dom spremni is not an exclusive ustasha salute.....it has been used throughout history. --croatian_quoll02:43, 27 December 2006

Za Dom Spremni is dated from the Ottoman days,when the Croats fought the Turks.It was just abused by Ustase,therefore the Serbs use it to smear Croats.--(GriffinSB) (talk) 13:51, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bosniak force

[edit]

Could you explain how was the HOS "absorbed into the HVO" if it wasn't affiliated with the CR Herzeg-Bosnia? --DIREKTOR (TALK) 20:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

HOS wasn't absorbed into HVO, it just decomposed, after HVO killed eight the most important HOS officers. And they were all killed after Kraljevic opposed Boban-Karadzic agreement. He didn't accept Herzeg-Bosnia, that's the reason he was killed, after meeting with Boban, who invited him to the meeting, then executed him along with his men. Kruško Mortale (talk) 22:09, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok, my bad. If I may suggest you introduce this crucial information into the article. The current wording led to this misunderstanding. I never did get into the details about all these Croatian fascistoid militias... --DIREKTOR (TALK) 23:02, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I never introduced anything into this article, and I don't want to do that. I just reverted it, when you changed Bosnia and Herzegovina into Herzeg-Bosnia. Blaz Kraljevic murder is well known fact not just in Croatia, but in the Balkans, even Europe. The reason is also well known. Kruško Mortale (talk) 14:14, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know you never did, I'm suggesting you do now. I just thought you wanted to actually improve this encyclopedia, instead of pestering, undoing, and wasting the time and energy of those who are trying to improve it. My bad again. --DIREKTOR (TALK) 14:36, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

HOS in Croatia was not a paramilitary force, it was recognized as a legitimate. The same applies in Bosnia Herzegovina, HOS was recognized from the beginning as a legitimate part of the Bosnian army fighting for integrity of Bosnia Herzegovina. Hence, the word paramilitary should be removed.

In 1990 Ante Paradzik was NOT elected as the vice president of HSP, the vice president was Kresimir Pavelic. (Zdssh (talk) 11:25, 7 July 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Two more things; 1. HOS as abbreviations similar to WW2 should be removed, the statement implies something which is not correct, albeit HOS can stand for Honour Of Soldiers too.. so please remove reference to WW2.. 2. Reference to atrocities committed by HOS on Serb civilians is unfounded in any reputable reference nor any court, so please remove.. (Zdssh (talk) 11:38, 7 July 2011 (UTC))[reply]
