I moved the Details of murders section above the section describing his prison violence, because the murders were earlier in the chronology and the reason why he was in prison to begin with.Tkotc (talk) 01:01, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation Birth Year Discrepancy

[edit]

The disambiguation page lists Craig Price's birth year as 1974, but the page itself lists it as 1973. I'll change it to 1973 on the disambiguation page, but this should be double checked. Upjav (talk) 00:49, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Move to Florida

[edit]

Perhaps the article should explain why he was moved to a Florida prison.

It is fortunate that this guy keeps committing crimes in prison. Those crimes allow him to stay locked up.

It's not quite that simple. He committed his crimes as a juvenile in Rhode Island, which did not have a law that permitted the authorities to prosecute him as an adult (R.I. does have such a law now). So the authorities were looking for ways to keep him in jail after his release from juvenile detention (which I believe was supposed to end at age 21, although I'm not sure). Well, the authorities DID find ways to keep him in jail. Now, in this case I think that's a good thing, but it should give everyone pause. If they can do that to Price -- i.e., refuse to release him on various pretexts -- they can do it to any other person that they don't want to release. Some of the excuses they used for not releasing him were pretty minor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.38.185.65 (talk) 01:20, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
