Filming

[edit]

The following sentence in the article is unsourced and tagged since August 2011: "Filming began in May and ended in July 2011 in Manhattan, New York as well as Toronto, Ontario." I removed it because it is unsourced and because of the age of the tag. User:Varlaam insists on restoring it, and his reasoning is odd. In his latest edit summary, he states: "He shoots all of his movies here. You delete unciteds when they are inherently false or questionable, not undoubtedly accurate as this one surely is." That reason is not grounded in any policy I'm aware of. Apparently, Varlaam has a chip on his shoulder because he also reverted my removal of a wikilink for Manhattan based on WP:OVERLINK per this edit summary: "Not every English WP user is an American who knows that the universe revolves around the US of A." I don't care much about the wikilink, although we really don't need one for Manhattan, any more than we would need one for London or Dublin or Sydney or Toronto.

However, the unsourced material should go or have a reliable source (not Varlaam) to back it up. I will revert one more time and ask him to come here to discuss the issue.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:36, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Filmed in Toronto and got the budget on there too — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.65.68 (talk) 17:33, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Pattison

[edit]

There has been too much material added to the article about Pattison, to the point that it reads almost like a fansite. I have pared back the material (in the reception section), although probably not enough. Please don't add any more unless you can justify it. Just because something is cited to a reliable source does not necessarily justify its inclusion. The article needs to remain balanced.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:02, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

Why is the plot description only 10 words? Crzyclarks (talk) 17:24, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Usually, plot sections are completed by editors who have seen the film. At this point, unless someone saw the film at Cannes and wants to edit the section, there's nothing to go on until it has a wider release.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:32, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There's much larger summaries of the plot by many sources, Rotten Tomatoes being one example. Crzyclarks (talk) 03:43, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Crzyclarks, please take care of the problem yourself. This plot as it stands is very hard to read. Chrisrus (talk) 05:08, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
