While I don't have a CV or an MD, I have been a secretary for a corneal ophthalmologist sine 2001. I've seen some videos of cornea transplants, and I've also done some brochures about them. Mainly, these were done to give the patients an idea of what to expect regarding the surgery. --barista 4 July 2005 02:16 (UTC)

The first successful corneal transplant recipient was an antelope. http://www.pirweb.org/pir05d_cornea.htm Leighxucl (talk) 21:12, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The United States insurance and cost information is pretty random and is uncited. How does anyone know that insurance usually pays 80%. I doubt that is a correct statement of fact. Chrisny2 (talk) 23:25, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair point, and it probably shouldn't be here because it's only specific to one country. I've removed it. Graham87 07:09, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
