Article editor issue

[edit]

The article appears to have been written by a Cor-Bon employee.

Removed the "logo" as it is NOT Cor-Bon's logo but an anniversary roundel which appeared in the boxes on ammunition. Furthermore, TJCORBON, the "author" of the logo is not the owner of the logo but rather a roundel which appeared on ammunition boxes congratulating themselves.

Company Name is Cor-Bon

[edit]

This is a Wiki treatment. This issue cropped up earlier with the use of 45 Super(R) - it was amended to 45 Super. It is understood that it is a registered trademark. The proper company name is Cor-Bon - it does not matter where the (R) appears in the logo. Furthermore, the (R) and never be registered within the name itself - United States Patent and Trademark Office. The (R) cannot be patented even if it appears in a logo. Since the take over by Dakota the Cor-Bon name has been used to designate a brand of ammunition that NOW has a patent registered. Hence the logo change. Please leave the name as Cor-Bon when addressing the company. And when addressing the brand of ammunition you can choose to call it CORBON CorBon or Cor-Bon but the (R) should go. About the company not Brand Name

[edit]

This article should be about the Cor-Bon Company not about the Dakota Arms brand name. If this is about a brand name this article should be removed and deleted. The article when first created was about the company. DeusImperator (talk) 16:47, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The company name is "Cor-Bon/Glaser" (well, really "COR®BON / Glaser, LLC"). Should we move the article to include the "Glaser" name? Rezin (talk) 17:13, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and made the move. Rezin (talk) 21:02, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

Per multiple issue tags, I've deleted the bulk of the article. It was unsourced and promotional. Everyone is welcome to add as much new material as can be supported by reliable sources. Rezin (talk) 17:04, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
