[edit]Please check and verify last of these two statement is still valid. This last statement was there when General Sarath Fonseka was in the rank of Lieutenant General. I think there is no conflict in these two statement now. "The current Commander of the Army is General Sarath Fonseka since 2005. It is a position comparable to that of Chief of the General Staff of the British Army". Manjula.aw (talk) 16:52, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Hyphenation
[edit]Please stop hyphenating the "Lieutenant General"s and "Major General"s- this is not how the Sri Lankan Army uses these titles, regardless of what the corresponding wiki articles on those ranks might say. - ක - (talk) 07:07, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
