Place of death
[edit]Copied from User talk:Bruce1ee
Good morning/afternoon,
With reference to the above Wikipedia entry - I am Chris Townson's daughter. I changed the entry to state than in fact, he died in Sussex and not in London as previously shown. I see that you changed it back.
As I, along with the rest of the family, was there holding his hand when it happened, I would appreciate that you leave the entry as it now is.
Many thanks

- Hi Janine, the statement in the article that Chris died in London is supported by an obituary in The Independent. While I don't doubt your claim that he died in Sussex, do you have a reliable published source to back it up? All information in Wikipedia has to be verifiable in reliable published sources. To quote from Wikipedia:Verifiability, "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth—whether readers can check that material in Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether editors think it is true." —Bruce1ee 06:05, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
End of copied section
In the absence of any reliable published sources stating that Townson died in Sussex, I've restored his place of death to London, which is cited in The Independent. Please note that, as stated above, "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth" (Wikipedia:Verifiability). —Bruce1eetalk 06:06, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
