Chicken have a head?

[edit]

Where is the head for this chicken? (I am not just being fictitious. I don't see how this can be called a "chicken's neck".) -- Kautilya3 (talk) 15:34, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This POV page needs to be junked

[edit]

There is no evidence that this place is of any real military value, except for some chest-thumping.

  • In the 1965 war, there was no fighting here. It happened north of the Chenab river (Operation Grand Slam). Neither of the terms "Akhnur dagger" and "Chicken's neck" existed then.
  • In the 1971 war, India did capture it and demonstrate that it was indeed a "Chicken's neck". But what is the point? The area was returned after the war, whereas the Chamb area that Pakistan captured north of Chenab was retained by Pakistan. (See Battle of Chamb.). So this seems to be just a game to cover up the real loss of territory suffered by India.

Am I missing something? Why do we need this page? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 21:39, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
