The LT5 is a supercharged engine. From what I've heard, it's a flat-plane crank engine. The engine may show up in the next Z06 or ZR-1, possibly branded "LT6" or "LT7". Will (Talk - contribs) 04:56, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The engine designation is the LT6, the specifications of which are quite easy to find. In short, it shares nothing with previous Corvette engines. It is an all-alloy, 5.5 litre, 4-cam, 32-valve, naturally-aspirated engine with a flat plane crank and a dry sump. The street versions use the more typical 6.2 litre pushrod engine.
