Rap

[edit]

The article says, "in the fourth live show she sang 'Stay'. This was the first time Lloyd did not rap in her performance". However, I don't think this is actually correct. Having listened to her first audition ("Turn My Swag On", easily found on YouTube) a handful of times, I have to say that I don't think any of that performance actually counts as "rapping". The singing style was perhaps "close to it" at a few points, but IMO it was all singing, not rapping. Perhaps some kind of reference to "hip-hop" instead of "rap" would be more accurate? - dcljr (talk) 14:00, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rapper

[edit]

What sources are there that she is a rapper? as stated in the intro, seems somewhat dubious? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.41.41.184 (talk) 23:10, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Is Cher Lloyd & Craig Monk are born exactly the same year at of each other?

Drop from label and third studio album/Website

[edit]

Most of the links pointed out rumors that Cher had been dropped from her label. The first four links are speculation, but the last reference[1] is a solid lead that she has, in fact, been signed to Universal. So, may the first four be removed from the article due to speculation? As for her third studio album, Lloyd is speculating a new single. Her website has been removed, and a re-direct to her Facebook page has been put in it's place. Any ideas on what's going on here? Can you please add Category:Feminist musicians for Cher Lloyd? Thank you.--67.101.6.35 (talk) 07:41, 22 July 2015 (UTC) 67.101.6.35 (talk) 07:41, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Nothing in the article refers to her as a feminist - you would need a reliable source showing that she considered herself to be a "Feminist musician" - Arjayay (talk) 10:48, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

My name is Ed Majcina and I am on Cher Lloyds management team. We would like to update the images on Cher's Wiki. The current ones are an old representation of who Cher was as an artist. I believe that Epic Records was the original author of this page but Cher is no longer with that label. Hope you can help us out with this. Thanks in advance.

Cher's first appearance in US was on Americas Got Talent not X factor, she is related to Felicity, Francesca and Fiona Lloyd.

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Mlpearc (open channel) 20:58, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Cher Lloyd

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Cher Lloyd's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
