Production of T-34-85
[edit]I found contradicting info on this topic. Walter S. Dunn Jr. in Stalin's Keys to Victory The Rebirth of the Red Army (2006) at page 36 indeed says that by January 1944, the SU-85 and the T-34/85 replaced the T-34. But Steven J. Zaloga in Tanks in the Battle of Germany 1945 Eastern Front (2022) says at p. 40 that Chelyabinsk switched entirely to heavy tanks and assault guns. Francis Pulham in T-34 Shock The Soviet Legend in Pictures (2021) has a T-34-85 Production table that doesn't list Chelyabinsk. Same with Steven J. Zaloga again in T-34-85 vs M26 Pershing Korea 1950 (2006). Francis Pulham and Will Kerrs in T-34 Shock: The Soviet Legend in Pictures (2021) say that the last T-34s came out of Chelyabinsk in February 1944. I think Dunn is mistaken.
