Other events held in Perth in 192

[edit]

The ref for the fire brigade demonstration mentions "centenary" but there appears to be nothing in the online refs for the Methodists and the football that indicate that these events had anything to do with the centenary. I suggest that - in the absence of anything specific to tie them to the centenary - these events ought not be mentioned here. Not everything that happened in Perth that year was related to the centenary. Mitch Ames (talk) 07:00, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Most public events that happened in that specific year were tied in with the centenary - the source that I have used has to be checked... it is related and can be ascertained as such, you just have to wait. User:JarrahTree 11:24, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Centenary Celebration Period

[edit]

Do we have a reference that defines "Centenary Celebration Period" as a proper name?. If not, it ought not be capitalised. Mitch Ames (talk) 07:30, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the Souvenir Programme literally has everything in caps. User:JarrahTree 11:27, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Could you add the Souvenir Programme as an inline cite please. Mitch Ames (talk) 12:51, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proclamation Tree

[edit]
"This plate was presented and erected by Fremantle Boys' School 18-12-30."

There's also this tree in Freo, with a plaque added in 1930 by the boys' school. Not sure if it matters enough to be added to the article.

A year after the celebrations - better on a freo article User:JarrahTree 11:28, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
