How about adding File:Boy and Girl Scouting begins Celebrate the Century stamp.jpg? 71.178.141.233 (talk) 05:01, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

One big problem with that - - - the Boy and Girl Scouts postage stamp was on the 1910s decade sheet, not the first 1900s decade sheet. Although the background image on the 1910s sheet is of a Boy Scout rally, the stamp celebrating the founding of both groups is nearly dead-center on the sheet and listed in stamp catalogs as #3183j (with, obviously, #s 3183a-i from the same sheet and listed before it).24.251.245.92 (talk) 09:03, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Runners Up

[edit]

I think it would be interesting to include all the possible choices that were on the ballots for the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Even for those of us who voted, we don't remember all the possible choices; and for those who didn't vote or for whom this IS history, I think they would be interested and surprised at what choices there were.

And, if possible, I think it would also be interesting to list the winners for each decade in order of votes received.

I think doing/including all this would give not only more depth to the entry, but a more historical aspect as well.24.251.245.92 (talk) 08:53, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
