Usedtobecool I've created this article Draft:Cathy Daley. I've submitted three articles for AfC but they are all pending because of the backlog. I'm thinking of moving this one direct to the main space. Can I ask you your opinion of her article? I have made several lists on this one and I'm not so sure that is such good idea. Thank you! Hiya LorriBrown, thanks for the ping. AfC is not a rule. It's just a way to make certain that another experienced editor thinks your article is good enough to survive an AfD. If the article gets AfD'ed anyway, I doubt anyone will be persuaded by the argument that it had passed AfC. I think you've got enough experience to make that judgement yourself. It seems she's been cited by a fair few peers; and you have a healthy collection of sources and accomplishments here. Looks to me, she's plenty notable (found these mentions quickly 123).
Perhaps one or two of the lists could be turned into prose. It'd not be possible to do with the bibliography but of the other three, if there isn't a very good reason to "must have" them as lists, they could be turned into prose. For example, the significant works list could be covered with a single sentence in the career section. If the subject passes notability which is the only thing that's looked at in an AfD, the content can be restructured later with the input of everyone who will be able to work on it once it's on mainspace. Personally, I feel it's ready to be put up. No need to add to the AfC backlog. Usedtobecool✉️✨08:37, 29 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
