Holocaust in Turkey?
[edit]"She was born in France to a Sephardic Jewish family of Turkish origin that had survived the Holocaust.[1][2]" Neither reference appears to be about the Holocaust. There was no Holocaust in Turkey. The phrase "survuved the Holocaust" implies that they were under a threat from it. I suspect that the phrase "that had survived the Holocaust" was added in gratuitously, because since Ms. Pinhas was born after WWII, it is a given that her parents did not die prior to that. I recommend removing that uninformative add-in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.147.133.97 (talk) 10:38, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
