Senator

Cassius, the article says, was a senator. No reference, to verify the fact. What kind of a Senator was he? A senator of Rome, with a seat in the Roman Senate? Some sort of local senator, a town senator? Is he in the Prosopography of the Later Roman Empire? --Vicedomino (talk) 09:39, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
