[edit]I've added references and sources for every little tiny snippet of information. And deleted the "unreferenced" template. Sunjan (talk) 12:23, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'd hardly call adding references to the first sentence adding "references and sources for every little tiny snippet of information"! I've had a look through the history of the article as I'm very suspicious as to the source of the text. A few years on the Yello mailing list someone asked if someone could add a bio on Carlos on Wikipedia (on behalf of Carlos). This was well before my first edit, so I took no notice at the time. I'm guessing that the current text is that bio. I notice that Exactinfo added a bio in 2007, this was subsequently deleted (see his user talk page. Exactinfo then re-added the text (see http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Carlos_Per%C3%B3n&direction=next&oldid=206051905 for the edit in which the text was re-added). I have subsequently seen this text printed in the booklet of a Carlos Perón CD from 2008, with "source: Wikipedia" printed down the bottom! I'm about to go through this article in detail, removing any statement that doesn't belong. (I suspect not much will be left!) Mark P. (talk) 11:44, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
