@LV1000: I'm not interested in edit wars, nor do I hate your map :) Only reason I gave was in the edit box "this version is raster". By that I meant Raster graphics vs Vector graphics, where for such cases like logos, maps, graphs etc. vector graphics are better (easily resized without artifacts/easier for people to edit/smaller file sizes). Often people use Inkscape, but there are other options.
The other consideration was "updated" - Pierīga changed, Vidzeme wasn't colourized (see here; archived from 7pm, no idea how it was when you uploaded it). Often people download the old file, update it and then upload it as a new version to the same page if it's a diagram or graphic and it has changed in time (example, see below file).
Anyways, I'd like to stay on good/neutral terms (as it was) and see another editor help in wikipedia, both English and Latvian. --silraks (talk) 22:38, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The image should definitely be SVG so we can update it in the future for an ongoing event. JPGs/PNG are really not suitable for this, even if someone uploads a slightly newer version. So I concur with above. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK19:07, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
