WikiProject COVID-19

[edit]

I've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, --Another Believer (Talk) 17:33, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Something of the article is suspecting bias

[edit]

It has occurred to me that something within the article is trying to promote nationalist claims that Republika Srpska has done more to contain the virus than FBiH, even going so far to say they were the first to enact measures to contain the infected and asserting that FBiH has been committing crimes such as raising the prices for sanitary items. Yes, it is true. However, to avoid bias within the topic, better wording should be chosen. --User:Balkanite —Preceding undated comment added 20:36, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Official data

[edit]

For statistics (tables and diagrams) please use only data from daily reports of Institute for Public Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Institute for Public Health of Republika Srpska, which are only official data. --Smooth O (talk) 15:41, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cancellation of the final examinations in BIH

[edit]

Recently, i have been researching on some articles that due to coronavirus, there wont be eventually final examinations for the students of primary and secondary education level considering the epidemiological situation. First canton to do that was the Sarajevo Canton on 18th April 2020, few days later the Tuzla Canton did the same thing for the safety over coronavirus infections.

Will it eventually spread through the entire country before June? (Final examinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina tend to start in Mid-june after excursions which were unfortunately cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic entering Bosnia and Herzegovina on 5 March 2020.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by AustroHungarian1867 (talkcontribs) 16:45, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Daily cases are invalid in BIH. Numbers are oddly spiky...

[edit]

According to the data, something is going weird with Daily COVID-19 cases. Every 2 or 3 days there was a spike of hundreds of cases in one day. The government is not telling either correct information about Bosnia COVID-19 cases. This explains that a possible underestimate of tests and cases can be easily spotted in this country.
