Merger discussion

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.

The following four articles,

Cédula de Identidad y Electoral
Cédula de identidad (Costa Rica)
Brazilian identity card
Cédula diplomática mexicana

should be merged into this fifth article (Cédula de identidad) owing to duplicate/overlapping content. O'Dea (talk) 14:05, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think merging Cédula de identidad to Identity document would be an even better option, but I'm not sure about keeping or merging each of the four countries' individual articles. In Spanish Wikipedia they have a lot more information, but could still be a section for each in Identity document. --Roqz (talk) 19:09, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm against the merger of the Brazilian identity document with this article. First, Brazilians don't speak Spanish. Second, the article itself is good enough as it is. User:Tetizeraz. Send me a ✉️ ! 15:21, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do not merge the Brazilian identity card article with this one, because the Spanish and Brazilian identity cards are different and unrelated, and therefore should be in different articles. WPEditor42 (talkcontribs) 23:05, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
