Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on September 13, 2010.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that the Brazilian ironclad Barroso was hit 20 times between March 26 and 28, 1866, during the War of the Triple Alliance, but was not significantly damaged?

Not the Barroso?

[edit]

The image by Carlos Baluster does not to be of the Barroso − at least the Barroso this Article is about. It depicts two vessels: is either of them a central casemate ship? I wonder what the provenance of this file is.
