Brake shoe may be synonymous with brake block. This needs to be clarified. Peter Horn 18:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the UK a brake shoe is the part that carries the brake block. They are not synonymous. Is US usage different? Biscuittin (talk) 22:55, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
