Notability

I recently boldly redirected the article, and it was contested on rather flimsy grounds, so I'm here taking it to the talk page.

There is no need for a separate article here. There's very little content and it's entirely redundant to what's at the band article. This is very basic and standard application of WP:MERGEREASON. The article shows no independent notability beyond his involvement in the band. It's very standard practice to merge said articles of band members like this. For the record, I love the band. But this member passed away many years ago, and the band is far from the mainstream eyes anymore, so there is no reason to think cleanup and improvement is coming any time soon either.
