@Scope creep, please do not remove an academic notability tag without first trying to justify why and reach concensus. With an h-factor of 28, no significant awards and unclear academic he is not close to any of WP:NPROF. Ldm1954 (talk) 11:14, 4 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ldm1954: How goes it? I did justify it by removing the tag. I'm the only person that seems to the service the cat:nn category and have long experience at both NPP and AFC dealing with academics. The notability tag is highly subjective at best. The man has four papers with >100 citations and one with 77 so its close to borderline notable at a rough guess. I think it is borderline and better to keep it. If you don't think the guy is non-notable, send it to AFD, instead of choking up the category. There is almost 1200 articles with that tag for this month alone and there is only two folk servicing that category as far as I know. So if I come along and remove, I'm likely to be the only person to look at the article. If you post the note back, I will send it to Afd. scope_creepTalk16:51, 4 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
