I think I was succesful in replacing some of the primary sources with secondary ones and cleaning up the references already in place. There's more to be done, but it seems to be in a much better workable place now.DoctorG (talk)17:37, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
An editor tried adding this edit [1] to the lead. I have reverted it because it doesn't belong in the lead when there is nothing on that in the main section and per WP:BLP we would need to be much more careful about WP:NPOV and sourcing requirements. We should also avoid words like "controversial" in wikivoice. It is notable, however, that the article has some stuff about Johnson's views but nothing about his theology and beliefs, which have attracted controversy. I am not opposed to something like a Theology section, perhaps called "Theological views" to go with the political views section. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 16:20, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe just a "views" section? As far as I can tell Johnson doesn't distinguish between the theological and the political, RS seem to present it as part of the same religious package. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 17:28, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
