Photos of the barrier

Does anybody know where we could obtain free photos of the new border barrier? BigHead, Bellkass02? Mindaur (talk) 21:24, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I suppose on Lithuanian State Border Guard Service news page, because these photos are free to use for media. OTRS confirmation can be received via their foreign media attache listed here: lina.laurinaityte-grigiene@vsat.vrm.lt BigHead (talk) 22:00, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to the source mentioned above, I suggest you also look at the media resources of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union (and it's units) - if I'm not mistaken, permission from the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense is sufficient. Bellkass02 (talk) 08:05, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Sbaio: I see you removed the photo I uploaded and added. A quick message before would have been polite, but it seems to be indeed the case that the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence used the illustrative photos of the Poland-Belarus border (though not sure why they implied that the photos were made by their photographer, see the "Nuotr.: KAM / K. Kavolėlis" remark in [1]). Well, that's disappointing as I am struggling to find a free photo we could use.. --Mindaur (talk) 11:05, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
