internationally known figure in Turkey?

[edit]

Does anybody realize that the phrase "Bedri Baykam is an internationally known figure in Turkey." makes no sense? How can you be internationally known in one country? lol.--Hibernian 17:04, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He is known in Turkey as a neo-conservative. He supports the coups and attends anti-democratic demonstrations. He is not a leftist by any standard. --—Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.211.226.191 (talkcontribs)

That depends on your understanding of "leftist". Here it refers to social democracy. --Adoniscik(t, c) 22:13, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A few paintings would have been nice... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.241.153.82 (talk) 03:43, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How do you get a painting in here? Can we just pull a copy from a site? Or a photo taken of an actual painting? It is terrible that it is so difficult to put paintings in these articles.
