Just wondering if it's necessary to have , Lancashire tagged on, since there's no other article to confuse it with. - Dudesleeper / Talk 18:59, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No it isn't. I created this article when I was still an inexperienced editor. I needed to disambiguate it from Beacon Fell but I overdid it. There are two possible renames to consider: "Beacon Fell Country Park" or "Beacon Fell, Lancashire". Any opinion? --Dr Greg (talk) 13:03, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. I think my picture of Parlick is better than yours, but I won't be mean and remove yours! :-) --Dr Greg (talk) 13:09, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'd prefer "Beacon Fell Country Park" because I usually shy away from including a geographic location unless it's absolutely necessary, for no other reason than personal preference. And I decided to favour your picture of Parlick because it's a more generous profile. - Dudesleeper / Talk 20:33, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've renamed it (obviously), and also created a redirect from "Beacon Fell, Lancashire" (to stop anyone accidentally creating an article under that name). --Dr Greg (talk) 13:15, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
