Lucius Afranius
[edit]The link leads to Lucius Afranius the poet; I don't think it's the correct one. Mac9
- Ensured that this article is: within project scope, tagged for task forces, and assessed for class.
- This article would benefit from: expansion, sections (Prelude, The battle, Aftermath), in-text citations. --Rosiestep (talk) 18:45, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Major Editing Required
[edit]This article discusses significant portions of the campaign surrounding the Battle of Ilerda, which I'm not sure is necessary. I think this article could benefit from a complete re-working that focuses solely on the battle itself, following the format of other battle articles. The primary source for this battle is Caesar's Bellum Civile, 1.43-46, which is referenced here, but I cannot think of other possible sources off the top of my head (although they may exist, e.g. Appian). A good starting point would be the passages cited, and I would encourage others to attempt a initial re-working of this article based on that text. Andersao (talk) 04:49, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Maps needed
[edit]This article could do with some maps such as are found at the much more detailed corresponding article on Spanish Wikipedia (es:Batalla de Ilerda); but I don't have the expertise to copy them here. Kanjuzi (talk) 16:37, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
