Ukrainian Victory?

[edit]

Russian forces have been pushed far from Brovary, Ukraine has won this battle. If Russia ever comes back, it would constitute the Second Battle — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolf359Locutus (talkcontribs) 17:52, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

True, according to the map they were pushed away before the withdrawal (could be wrong). Dawsongfg (talk) 01:01, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To not merge, given the notable nature of the conflict around Brovary. Klbrain (talk) 12:03, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The article doesn't exactly describe a battle for Brovary, but skirmishes and ambushes in surrounding villages. I would like to propose a merger with Kyiv offensive. KajMetz (talk) 19:01, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nom. It was an overextended column that pushed too far too soon. We must not let sentimentality obscure the fa t that this was a minor engagement t, albeit that it had the potential to become something mire significant at one point. • Oppose: This was clearly a distinct battle (over control of Brovary and surroundings) within the larger offensive. The main ambush in the area alone warrants an article. Overall, there is zero reason to try to cram the content of this article into the offensive article (which will be large enough once it is actually written in a completed form). Applodion (talk) 21:23, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • As of now, the Kyiv offensive (2022) article is horribly small and barely covers the events in question. It can easily grow two times in size, and probably far more if a bit of work is put into it. Applodion (talk) 12:13, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose There are actually two offensives toward Kyiv, by the Russian Eastern Military District from Belarus, and by the Central Military District towards Chernihiv and Kyiv. I think the main articles may have to be reorganized a bit. —Michael Z. 13:42, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the necropost, but can somebody add the result? Dawsongfg (talk) 23:55, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
