I cannot find this battle in google books. I only found other battle of Bitlis's:

McMeekin refers to another "Battle of Bitlis" which took place in 1914,[1] Fatih Ünal calles this "battle" "Bitlis Rebellion" or "Molla Selim (Mullah Selim) Rebellion"[2]

Erickson refers to another "Battle of Bitlis" which was engaged by the 1st Expeditionary Force.[3]

Both battle are not same as the "Battle of Bitlis" explained in this article.

Results

[edit]

Per the Milhist infobox template, results should be simply x victory or inconclusive. Additional statements should be included in the article body, not the infobox. I simplified the results to match this, but after reading the article itself, I am not entirely clear that this was an Ottoman victory. Perhaps it would be better to write inconclusive?
