Does this pass WP:NOTNEWS and WP:EFFECT?

Does this pass WP:NOTNEWS? After the initial couple of days of reporting there is absolutely no notable media coverage for this event. There does not seem to be any change in law, or any reform triggered by this event, or any other development to pass WP:EFFECT.ChunnuBhai (talk) 06:53, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It passed WP:AFD only this month there is coverage in the entrie Indian National media including The Times of India ,The Hindu amd almost all major newspapers and TV channels covered it and even the International Media BBC and CNN covered it.It will get coverage when the case comes to trial the coverage has not stopped.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 06:57, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The next coverage is likely to be the trial of the accused. It is odd that people chose to write an article on this one, and not on some of the others that also received coverage in the press:

August 2020, Lakhimpur Kheri district, 13 year old Dalit girl raped and then strangled.[1][2][3] Apparently there were two more rape murders in Lakhimpur Kheri district in the next 20 days.[4]
October 2020, Barabanki district, 18 year old Dalit girl raped and then strangled.[5]
