Location?
[edit]Does anyone know where this school was located? I would like to add a geotag to this page but I have only found one reference to its address- 880 Peachtree St. Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks. Lbr123 (talk) 03:47, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
That is the wrong address. 880 Peachtree Street is a parking lot, across from the Vortex. A great burger and beer joint, but several blocks from the old ALS site. The mailing address for the ALS foundation is 880 West Peachtree Street, NE. The office building contains one or more law firms, one of which likely still acts on behalf of the foundation. The school was located on 10th street, across from the current Midtown Marta station, or about 16 10th Street, NE, Atlanta, and very close to the current Federal Reserve building, and about two blocks from "The Dump" where Margaret Mitchell wrote Gone with the Wind. The school building was torn down to make way for MARTA. Hope that helps. Gulbenk (talk) 22:21, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
