Wondering, should the information regarding her standup comedy (regarding the interaction with a fan at a show) have its own section entitled "Controversy," or would it not be considered distinguished enough from that to warrant its own section? Right now the comedy section seems very little focussed on her actual work, and more focussed on this one particular event tangentially related to it. Will respect mod/editor seniority and discretion on this, just curious and trying to clarify if this should be the check. MrDrFactChecker (talk) 19:21, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hey there, after consulting with another editor, we decided the above information about the controversy should be deleted altogether because it violates policies on biography pages for still-living persons and was poorly sourced or unsourced. My question is whether or not this page should be locked to protect against potential vandalism?
A lot of the now deleted information appears to have been originally added by a swarm of non-editors/users of this site in the first place (potentially from the website TikTok, where the controversy referenced is taking place). This suggests this page is open to vandalism/policy violating or poorly sourced information getting added by non-users. Therefore, it's possible locking the page might be necessary to prevent this happening again. Thoughts? MrDrFactChecker (talk) 18:40, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
