[edit]I'm pretty sure that Merzario did officially qualify for this race. He had originally DNQ'd in 28th place, but Hunt, Watson and Mass had their Saturday times taken away for fuel irregularites. Since it had rained on the Friday, those three were now DNQ'd because their times in the wet were too slow - they were now 27th, 28th and 29th, behind Merzario and Stuppacher. But Merzario and Stuppacher had already gone home thinking they hadn't qualifed, so Hunt and Mass moved up to 25th and 26th. Then Edwards withdrew to let Watson race. So I'd like to change it back to DNS, but I'll wait for any comment. This is explained at http://www.grandprix.com/gpe/rr277.html as well. Bretonbanquet 17:04, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. www.formula1.com also says "DNS" rather than "DNQ", so I'm happy to go with that. DH85868993 03:46, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
