TWO MILLION deaf people in Argentina?

Isn't that a bit very much? Usually they say 1 in 1000 is deaf so that would be, in Argentinia with approximately 40 Million inhabitants, around 40000 to 50000 deaf people.

yes, i was alarmed by that figure. i am removing it as it is impossible that 5% of the argentinian population is deaf. -Elefectoborde (talk) 17:19, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
