Note for AfC reviewer

[edit]

This page has been drafted as part of a paid pilot for the National Trust. If the reviewer approves the page, please would you be able to delete the existing redirect? This advice was given in this conversation. Many thanks Lajmmoore (talk) 10:35, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • ... that the dining room at Ardress House has no internal doors and can only be reached using an external entrance? Source: Greeves, Lydia (2008-09-30). Houses of the National Trust. Pavilion Books. pp. 20–21.

Also, I don't think the source is available offline, but I can send the PDF to a reviewer.

Also also, for full disclosure, this page was started as part of a paid pilot funded by the National Trust, please see my user page for further details. Created by Lajmmoore (talk). Self-nominated at 12:24, 14 September 2022 (UTC).[reply]

Pleased to pick this up. KJP1 (talk) 06:04, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Review

  • I think it is NEW enough, due to expansion, Green tickY;
  • It is LONG enough, Green tickY;
  • It is WITHIN POLICY, Green tickY;
  • The HOOK looks fine, both for FORMAT and CONTENT.
  • May I suggest:
ALT0a: ... that you need to go outside to eat at Ardress House?
Also, I don't believe QPQ credit is transferable. -- RoySmith (talk) 13:30, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks RoySmith, ALT0a sounds fine to me. In terms of the QPQ, this is the previous nomination. I did look through the rules, but can't see anything about donation/movement of QPQs -although I know editors have donated their 'extras' to other editors in the past. I assumed (in the absence of guidance that I could see) that since that previous nomination was unsuccessful, that freed up the review for me to donate to myself. I think it would be useful to have this clarified in the DYK rules for the future (or if I have missed something, please let me know). I've got quite a busy week this week, but will get to a new review on Friday. Many thanks for the discussion too, it's so interesting to talk about these points. Happy to pick up this review. And I happen to have the book sourced so no pdf required. KJP1 (talk) 05:42, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
