Ambiguity

The article presents some ambiguities for those not well versed with the characters of Greek mythology. [1] It is said that "Callisto was a deity of the goddess Artemis". But deity refers to a god or a god-like entity. Therefore, the relationship between Callisto and Artemis is unclear. It is assumed from the context that Callisto belongs to Artemis. [2] Next, it is said that Callisto "would not be with anyone but Artemis", yet since Artemis is a female (goddess), does it imply a same sex relationship? [3] It is then said that "Zeus cunningly disguised himself into Artemis and seduced Callisto" and results in a child called Arcas. If Zeus (male) was disguised as Artemis (female), how could impregnation occur? [4] It was also said that Zeus "made Arcas whole" when Arcas was placed on a burning altar. Does "make whole" imply a resurrection? [5] Finally, it is said that when Artemis heard of Zeus placing Arcas and Callisto into a constellation, she became angry.
