History

[edit]

In the history section it states that Aragon tower was "Originally completed in 1962 (along with Eddystone Tower and Daubeny Tower on the Pepys Estate)" This is incorrect! The committee approval date was 1963, and it would've taken several years before the tower was actually built. https://www.towerblock.eca.ed.ac.uk/development/royal-victoria-yard-site-grove-street-areas-site-and-windmill-lane-site-extension-0

It seems the history section is based on information from the Aragon Tower Residents' Association website (or the website is relying on Wikipedia to be correct) which is historically incorrect! https://www.atra.co.uk/about-aragon-tower/

Also Eddystone and Daubeny towers were built several years after Aragon. I've seen many sources with more accurate dates but I really don't have the time to research them again. 82.132.184.7 (talk) 11:42, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
