Material, AR?

[edit]

What material is used for anti-scratch coating? Is it also used as an anti-reflective coating? —Ben FrantzDale 14:17, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Danger for PMMA

[edit]

You write, that common glass cleaner can be used. But for Acrylic, common glass cleaner are deadly. The Acrylic will crack in a short of time. Acrylic is really sensitiv to Ammonium - based cleaner and most of all soap/water based cleaning products. Please make a annotation.

A aircraft cannopy can cost 3000 EUR. It would be verry bad that one will clean the coated cannopy with wrong products, because "I know from Wikipedia.." --81.13.237.223 (talk) 15:24, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Long on hype short on facts

This article does not bring any scientific evidence forward. It only repeats the claims made in eyewear ads which may well be false. Not really helpful at all. I would rather wikipedia did not have an entry than to have one like this one. N0w8st8s (talk) 09:09, 22 May 2015 (UTC)n0w8st8s[reply]
