A quote in ABC News says this occurs in 30 in 100,000 births. More stuff is there.--128.119.180.223 (talk) 21:18, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Wikipedia users I have edited this wiki page. I have really tried to fix a lot of mistakes, please can you review my work and help me fix this wiki page. Here are a few websites I have read for this topic. http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/sox2-anophthalmia-syndrome, http://www.nei.nih.gov/health/anoph/anophthalmia.asp#1, etc... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Annoyin Magician (talkcontribs) 03:37, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

For info please - why is the SOX2 gene also written as Sox2 gene. ? Iztwoz (talk) 08:08, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edited Anophthalmia

[edit]

I have made the following edits to this wiki page: "A few known viruses that can cause anophthalmia are toxoplasmosis, rubella, and certain strands of the influenza virus" revised to: "A few known pathogens that can cause anophthalmia are Toxoplasma, rubella, and certain strains of the influenza virus"

Toxoplasmosis is not a virus; it is a parasitic disease [source:[1]], so "viruses" revised to "pathogens" and "toxoplasmosis" revised to "Toxoplasma".Im nobody aint i (talk) 20:15, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are different strains of influenza virus; so "strands" revised to "strains"
