Cause of death?

[edit]

Does anyone know the reason why she died at such a young age? I think it should be added to the article.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.41.32.124 (talkcontribs).

Down syndrome. http://www.nichd.nih.gov/publications/pubs/downsyndrome/down.htm "in 1929 the average life span of a person with Down syndrome was nine years". — Dunc| 11:50, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It MAY be true that the average life of a person with Down's Syndrome was then nine years, although I doubt it. However, "Down's Syndrome" will still not do as a cause of death, as Down's Syndrome does not cause death.Manormadman (talk) 05:57, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pneumonia. I added a link.--Auric (talk) 04:49, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the sentence about her living with her family as people with Down's syndrome can live anywhere. Veryscarymary (talk) 13:22, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth?

[edit]

In the main part of the article, it says: "She was born in Trier, Germany, where her father was stationed." However, in the box on the right it says she was born in Cumbernauld, Scotland. I would assume that the Germany reference is correct, but then why the reference to Scotland? It may just be that I don't know how to read the article's history, but I can't discern the rationale behind that reference. Woodnwheel (talk) 02:25, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Text was added when infobox was created. Probably copy/paste error. Olijven user added infobox without any references that explain different birth place.

I cleaned it up. She was not an actor either.--Auric (talk) 04:51, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
