Not being the author of the article i removed the tag. A holder of a famous named professorship at a major university like Oxford is generally considered notable. There will be much more to add,. which wont be hard. Although a living person, there is nothing the least controversal abou tthe material in the article.

And I cannot figure out what can possibly be meant by the reason, "topic credibility"? What lacks credibility? law? criminology? professors of law? professors at Oxford? All Souls College.? Oxford?

I imagine the prodder will think better of it, but if still wanted to be deleted please take to AfD. I think it will be found an absurd nominaton. DGG 00:13, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately this entry is full of errors - Ashworth was never a judge in Scotland!, or a High Court Judge.
