Still to do

[edit]
  • final damage assessment
  • post-fire regimen for Roosevelt National Forest per Inciweb
  • discussion of sources attributing the fire to human causes
  • inclusion of any mid or long term evaluation of efficacy
  • inclusion of any policy responses
  • more free-to-share media, including pre-fire and post-fire condition, ecological detail, survivors

I do have bias. I am a hypervigilant local assessing the response to a destructive wildfire with severe infrastructure ramifications as exemplary down to the Jiminy Cricket level of detail in social ecology. Others may argue the article does not warrant the detail. I disagree and think the event has case study value, whether or not this is explicit in reliable sources. It is not asserted in namespace, but that's how I see it. This does not mean any performance within the incident found to be sub-optimal does not exist, but it would certainly warrant good sourcing, as I hoped to provide. Some chickens are presumed to have perished, per CBS, but I get the feeling that other folks feel this is too much detail.ClaudeReigns (talk) 22:43, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
