Alexander McMillan House is not in the National Register, as it does not appear in the NRIS, the official site. I have removed all references to the NRHP.

However, it is listed in the unofficial nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com website. Note that this site lists all nominations that enter the NRHP office, however not everything nominated is subsequently listed.

This house appears to have been nominated but never listed for whatever reason. This is one reason why the unofficial site should never be used as a primary reference. As such, I can't say whether this house is significant enough to be in Wikipedia. Can someone from Knoxville address the notability of this house? If not, it should be deleted.
